Energy Adviser Required
(Trainee position considered)
Funded by the British Gas Energy Trust, the Energy Adviser will provide advice to people experiencing, or at risk of, fuel poverty, living in cold homes, or vulnerable to ill-health. The service will deliver energy advice, offer support to manage debts and maximise income, help people to find cheaper tariffs and improve their health and well-being.
They will develop referral systems with front-line health, social services, local authority and third sector workers, and raise awareness about how energy and related advice can help address poor health and well-being. They will also ensure that those most in need are aware of and able to access the help
You will work very closely with the Advice Services Manager and enjoy the challenge and stimulation of working within a close knit team.
Location Haverfordwest, Pembroke Dock and other locations as required
Duration fixed term contract until 31st March 2021 subject to satisfactory
completion of probation period (min 6 months)
Hours 35 per week (Job share considered)
Annual Leave 28 days (including BH)
FTE Salary £17,634
Pension Workplace pension applies after 3 months.
