Digital Welfare Project

Pembrokeshire Citizens Advice Bureau wants to help.

Working in Partnership with Pembrokeshire’s three Job Centres, Pembrokeshire CAB aim to provide anyone on JSA or ESA work based with Digital Inclusion support. The types of support on offer range from using a computer for the first time, writing a CV, using the governments job site Universal Jobmatch, writing a cover letter, using job searching sites e.g. Indeed & CV Library, how to send an email, how to attach your CV to an email and so much more!

Our aim is to give you the tools and support to look for work using digital technology. The vast majority of jobs are only advertised online and if you’re not able to go online then you are probably missing out. Furthermore - you might not be meeting your claimant commitment and this could lead to a sanction.

We have volunteers running support sessions in five libraries across Pembrokeshire. To attend please speak to your jobcentre advisor who will book you an appointment.

Pembroke Dock Library

Mondays – 1pm to 5pm.

Fishguard Library

Tuesdays 10am to 12noon.

Tenby Library

Mondays 10am to 1pm.

Milford Haven Library

Wednesdays 10am to 1pm

Haverfordwest Library

Fridays 2pm to 4.30pm.

There are a number of sessions at alternative times within the jobcentres. Please speak to your Jobcentre advisor or contact us for further information.

Pembrokeshire Citizens Advice are committed to promoting Digital Inclusion for everyone. If you or someone you know is digitally excluded and would like some support please contact us to see if we, or one of our partners can help.
